Tallow is rendered fat from grass-fed cattle. We use it because it's the most compatible fat with human skin, containing vitamins A, D, E, and K. It closely mimics our skin's natural sebum, making it incredibly nourishing and easily absorbed.

Unlike plant-based oils that can oxidize quickly, tallow is stable and provides long-lasting moisture without clogging pores.

Pure Whipped Tallow: Contains only 100% grass-fed beef tallow, whipped for easier handling. Not as smooth as versions with coconut oil, but much easier to work with than non-whipped tallow. Best for sensitive skin.

Whipped Tallow (Unscented): Tallow blended with MCT oil for a lighter, more spreadable texture.

Whipped Tallow (Scented): Our whipped formula with added essential oils like Cedarwood, Lemon Myrtle, or Tea Tree for a masculine scent.

No! High-quality tallow absorbs quickly into the skin because it's so similar to our natural skin oils. You should only use a small amount - a little goes a long way.

If it feels greasy, you're likely using too much. Start with a pea-sized amount for your entire face.

Yes! Our Pure Whipped Tallow is especially good for sensitive skin as it contains only one ingredient. However, if you have very sensitive skin, we recommend patch testing first.

Those with coconut allergies should avoid our whipped versions with MCT oil and stick to Pure Whipped Tallow.

I source my tallow from a local butcher here in Australia. The tallow comes from grass-fed cattle, ensuring good quality fat for our products.

I work directly with local suppliers to get the freshest tallow possible for our skincare products.

No artificial preservatives. Tallow is naturally stable and has antimicrobial properties. When properly rendered and stored, it has a shelf life of 12+ months.

We only use pure, natural ingredients - no chemicals, parabens, or synthetic additives.

1. Start with clean skin

2. Take a small amount (pea-sized for face) and warm between your fingers

3. Gently massage into skin until absorbed

4. Use morning and/or evening as needed

Remember: less is more with tallow. It's very concentrated!

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Room temperature is perfect - no refrigeration needed.

In hot weather, tallow may soften but will firm up again when cooled. This doesn't affect quality.

Always use clean hands or a clean spatula to avoid contamination.

A 100ml jar will definitely last 6+ months with daily face use. For body use, it may last less time if you're covering large areas, but still provides excellent value. This works out to approximately $1.92 per week!

Currently, I only ship within Australia. I don't have plans for international shipping at the moment, but if the business grows enough, I'd be open to expanding, most likely starting with New Zealand.

We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee from delivery date. If you're not happy with your purchase, you can request a refund as long as most of the product is unused.

To start a return, email us at hello@gentallow.com. Return shipping is covered by you unless the item arrives damaged or faulty.

Refunds are processed within 48 hours of receiving the returned item.

Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can use this to track your package through Australia Post.

If you haven't received tracking information within 3 business days, please contact us.

You can change or cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it by emailing hello@gentallow.com.

After 24 hours, orders may already be in processing and changes might not be possible.
